When in Tateyama Japan, we like to stay at the Pension Bach.
The best food either of us has ever eaten is also
in Japan, near Tokyo, in Nerima right by the train station. It is called Yumezakana (Dream Fish). Believe me, if you are in Tokyo get a reservation and have the Owner/Chef Yamaji prepare your dinner,
you do not have to bother with the menu.
On South Pender Island (in the Gulf Islands of British Columbia) we stay at Poets Cove.
