Remember when…. all it took was a day at the beach to make you happy.  A carefree day at the beach, spending time with family and friends, just hanging out.

My story started in 1929 with my grandparents starting a small cabin rental business on the shores of Birch Bay in the Pacific Northwest.  It was a place for families to vacation, enjoy time by the waters edge and create fond memories.  

Seventy years, and two generations later, it was time for a new beginning.  I began restoring the cabins to keep family traditions alive.  It wasn’t just my family, but generations of other families who returned year after year, people who loved to share their experiences, their stories, their memories and traditions.

I wanted it to continue, I wanted to capture the essence of staying at the cabins, sharing experiences by the water.  One day I walked along the tide, water passing under my feet, I knew I was a Tide Catcher. The tide was the waterway to my dreams and the gateway to my heart.

A Tide Catcher loves being by the water; to share water experiences, connect with family, friends, and new acquaintances. Tide Catchers tell a story.   It is the experience that allows us to call ourselves “Tide Catchers.”
