Polar Bear Swim Tide Catcher Style !

Site_2/polarbear1.jpg

Yes, Yes, Yes, the water was cold!  Hey it was January 1, the temperature of the water was 48 degrees (F). But the air was colder (39 degrees (F) so it actually felt warm when we got out.  It was really fun, and there was hot stew ready for the swimmers, and of course, great fun for all.

It was wonderful to walk the beach in front of your cabins!

Blue-Heron.jpg

I really enjoyed walking the beach out in front of the cabins.  I caught this picture when we were out about a quarter mile at a minus tide. It was amazing to be within 15 feet of this Blue Heron.
